Eyes Unlimited was founded in 1993 by Antonio Prieto and Mark Fireman — two friends who were 22 years old. At its height, the network brought together some 3,000 independent opticals, and its Vision Benefit Guide reached employees in their paychecks, quarter after quarter.
Antonio's father opened his first optical the day Antonio was born. He stayed independent for many years, until the industry pushed him into a franchise. Eyes Unlimited was the answer back then: independents standing together instead of standing alone.
We were young. We made mistakes, we missed opportunities, and in time we closed it down and went our separate ways.
Now we're back — rebuilt for the internet, in memory of Antonio's father, and open to every optical in America: independents, franchises, and chains alike. Pick your state. Find your optical. Call and go.
